"Chance and I were the first to visit Baby Lilly this morning. Her vitals are all really good and her color is great. She has healed almost all the blisters. Her neck is still swollen. The doctors are not going to do another X-ray of the clot until Monday, so we have no new news on that. This is Chance swabbing Lilly's mouth with Julie's colostrum breast milk. Keep praying for this little family."

"Baby Lilly is very far from being out of the woods. They really don't even know if she could breath on her own. She's sedated on an opiate stronger than morphine. However, she's in no pain and does not appear to be in any distress. This baby is totally in the hands of the Lord. Praise God."

"This is so wrong on so many levels. I'm laying here in a California hospital bed at 5:00 AM trying to rationalize why Julie, Chance and Lilly are having to go through this senseless trauma. I just don't get it. I pray that God will let me in on his plan and give us all some relief. I pray for Lilian's recovery. I pray for all of the suffering in the world. That's all I can do."

"This will be my last day for awhile to be with Lilian. I will be leaving her here in the hands of the doctors, nurses, her mom and dad and our Lord who formed her from clay. It's very hard to see her motionless little body, just laying there and not being able to do anything for her."

Baby Lilly is up and ready to take on a new day. She looks so good this morning. I know it might not seem like a lot for some, but the amount of movement in he right arm means so much to us.

Baby Lily had a little flower on her head this morning.

From Julie Forman

"Vitals are all doing good, they're starting to lower her respiratory rate on the ventilator to see if she can start breathing on her own, every time they lower it a couple points and she's responding well"

Hi folks. I'd like to get out of here and go home, but I have a little healing to do first. Thanks for the prayers and please keep them coming.

Today is MRI day for Baby Lilly; her first. We need constant prayer that the results are good and the damage to her spine, it reveals, is minimal.

Update on my lil angel... Her brain scan is good no bleeding. Her clot on liver remains the same. Tomorrow she will have test on her lower spine. Concerns from doctors are keeping blood pressure stable. So far so good. With spinal injuries stable blood pressure can vary. It seems when they mess with changing lines she has a drop in pressure but then stabilizes again. Please pray for these things so she can be on her way to recovery. There is so much but this is one thing I'm asking all of you to pray for so we can move forward to next stage of healing. She is a little fighter to say the least. Considering she should still be in moms tummy I feel she has really proven she is a go getter! Love her so much ❤️❤️❤️thank you all for your kind words and prayers and flowers. Means the world to us! God Bless

Just heard from Julie and everything went good with the MRI. Lilly's back in her cozy area and all the monitors and tubes are back in place. The Stanford University specialist will come over tomorrow or Friday to take a look at the results. Lilly's regular doctor quickly looked at it and said she didn't see any actual damage to the spine but the gap between 6 & 7 is still there and the spinal cord is herniated between them. The fluid collecting in her abdomen is decreasing and the clot in her liver appears to be very slowly shrinking. This is all do to the amounts of prayers going her way. This is not the time to stop. We all appreciate it.

Baby Lilly is resting up from the full day she had with the MRI, yesterday. However, she was able to squeak out a "huge" victory today. The respiratory therapist confirmed she took three to four breathes on her own. That means her diaphragm is working. This can mean the difference between "life and death". Keep the prayers coming and we'll surely be part of a miracle.

This is coming in right now 8:48 PM, 4/7/16 from Julie, prayer warriors rise up and claim healing for Lilly, in the name of our Lord and Savior.

" They're moving here right now onto a new gel mattress and the neurosurgeon is there holding her head I'm assuming they're going to straight it"

"They asked us to wait outside while they do it"

"Prayers right now!!!

This is a current picture of Baby Lilly on Friday, April 8th, 2016. The Standford University specialist was able to straighten her head and position it in a brace. That's the "good news". The not so good news is the results of the MRI were not conclusive, one way or the other. It showed Lilly's spinal cord coming from her brain to C6 and from C7 down. The section associated with the gap between C6 and C7 is very blurred and very hard to read. The doctor said his gut feeling is that it is at least partially severed.

I choose to believe the blur is the hand of God the Father, as he heals the millions of nerve endings in this child. I choose to believe that Baby Lilly will be totally healed and take her place with the other children. It's now between Lilly and her creator. With your prayers, we will hold Lilly up as an example of the grace and healing qualities of our "living God".

Just in from Julie, regarding Baby Lilly.
"So she had another ultrasound yesterday too"
"And it looks like the clot in the liver is continuing to retract. Every time they ultrasound it its retracting more and more"
"So they're hopeful they can try to start testing her intestines next week to see if she can get a tear drop of mommas milk"

Direct from the new mother!

"They took the catheter out so she's peeing in her diaper"

"I just changed my first diaper"

"She was so alert today!"

"As soon as we walked up she opened her eyes and had a huge smile on her face"

When was the last time you saw a mother thrilled to change a diaper?

Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love and support for our family. These last 2 weeks have been the hardest that any parent should have to endure. It truly brings comfort to our hearts knowing that so many of y'all are praying for our Lils. God works in mysterious ways, and as difficult as this experience has been I know that everything happens for a reason. Our baby girl is still in extremely critical condition, but I believe in the power of prayer!! So please keep them coming, because this journey is far from over. Thank you again for the unconditional love that we have received. It means the world to us.

Dr Chorne will be Lil's Neonatologist for the next 2 weeks. She actually has training in neurology as well. When she was doing Lil's daily lift, she said she felt muscle movement in her left shoulder!!! Shoulder movement = diaphragm movement. If Lil's right and left shoulders are moving, that means her C5 isn't damaged! Which means her diaphragm will be able to work! This baby is being rebuilt nerve at a time, with your prayers. Don't give up now.

From Julie, Wednesday April 13th

"She's sleepy this morning
She has a little fluid in her lungs and her white blood cell count was high so they're running more tests to make sure it's not an infection like pneumonia
Pray on it!!!
The fluid could be on account of the Hydrops tho, they're just running the test just to make sure it's not an infection
Also her leukocytes are really low, she's not producing as much as she should, so they're doing more tests on that as well to see if maybe this might be the cause of the hydrops. So we have a possible cause of Hydrops
They also had to go back up on her respiratory rate and gave her some oxygen too cuz last night she wasn't rewinding well to the lowered respiratory rate. They think since its been 24 hours that's she's been off the epi drip that we were just pushing her too much by taking her off too many things at once
So we have good news and scary news"

First family photo! She just had a diaper change and mom and dad did her physical therapy. Lots of lab drawn and urine. Running more test. Baby steps for sure but she is a trooper through it all.

Julie, Thursday, April 14th
"We're starting her on milk.
Pray heavy on this!!!! We want her to be able to digest the milk and not get an infection.
Notify the prayer army!
So far she's been passed out with a big smile on her face.
We gave her 1 mililiiter, I'm sure it feels very satisfying to have a full belly for the first time ever.
We won't know whether or not her GI system is handling it tho until tomorrow's.
Sorry we were in the NICU and Dr Grant drove up from Stanford for another patient and stopped by to check on Lils so we were with him doing some physicals therapy on her neck for the first time.
He said the movement in her left shoulder is most likely her traps, not her shoulder.. Which is further up the spine. So that was kinda disappointing.
He wants us to start doing physical trait everyday on her neck, stretching it to the right. He slapping on some gloves, grabbed her head and turned her neck and we all almost shit our pants watching lol. But if I trust anyone to do that to her neck it's definitely him."
